{Top, Pants, Necklace (worn as belt): FOREVER 21; Earrings, Ring: H&M; Bag:DOLCE & GABBANA; Sunglasses: DIOR; Shoes: PROMISE via DLove}

Some weekends, with all the chores and errands that need to be completed, I feel as though I should dress—or would that be armored—for the occasion. Cargo skinny jeans with plenty of stretch for comfort, a slashed tee with lightly padded shoulders, cross-body bag with metal trimming and canvas booties get the job done.

Style is...

...going for bold by paring red with red
...mixing feminine and flirty with edgy
...accessorizing to the max

<font size=6>...</font>perfectly balancing out an overly girly skirt with denim skinnies and leather booties; boldly pairing red lips with my already bright and bold red coat; and piling all my bracelets and rings onto one hand—the hand that carries my clutch.

Hat Trick

<font size=6>H</font>ats aren't usually on my radar. I can appreciate them on other people—Karen rocks hats frequently; and well—but I usually only think of them on bad hair days. Lately though I've been in the mood for a hat; even tried on a few while out shopping. Although I wasn't able to decide on one I absolutely loved, I'm still searching for that must-have topper. Here are few that I'm considering...

1. Magid Felt Bucket Leaf Hat, $54

2. Patricia Underwood Trilby Hat, $575

3. Rag & Bone Kingsley Wool Fedora, $160

4. Patricia Underwood Bowler Hat, $530

5. Eugenia Kim Max Toyo Fedora, $300

6. Arden B Two Tone Woven Fedora, $19.50

7. Del Moro Felt 'Borsalino' Hat w/Stitching Details, $338

8. Topshop Camel Plaited Trim Unstructured Hat, $50

9. Hat Attack Velour Felt Fedora w/Trim, $118

A few weeks ago (in my Dress & Decor post) I mentioned that I would be decorating my bedroom soon. In my search for interior inspiration—I've decided I definitely want a fun and unique chandelier to dangle from my ceiling—I've also come across chandelier earrings that could have been directly inspired by their larger relatives. What do you think of a chandelier for a bedroom?

Back to Black

<font size=6>I</font>'m recently over my cranberry crush from a couple months ago; and though I'll keep it close, I feel the need to return to my customary color of choice: black. Unfortunately, the last bottle I have, Rimmel's Black Satin, is near empty so I need to replenish with a new bottle, or two. These are the three variations of black lacquer that I am currently considering: Scotch Narturals' Black Tartan nail polish which is water-based and has a low luster; Deborah Lippmann Collection's Fade to Black nail lacquer that is sleek with a nice sheen; and Butter London's Union Jack Black nail lacquer with it's patent leather mimicking high-gloss. Which do you think I should choose?

Deborah Lippmann Collection Fade to Black Nail Lacqer, $16

Butter LONDON Union Jack Black Nail Lacquer, $14

Scotch Naturals Black Tartan Nail Polish, $15

Rebecca Minkoff {v} ASOS

<font size=6>I</font>'m guilty. The bigger the bag, the more stuff I find to cram into it. Of course, when my shoulders start screaming at me for lugging it all I swap to a much smaller, more streamlined bag only to get irritated because I can't fit everything I need—okay, want—into it. I found the answer to my issue when I came cross Rebecca Minkoff's mini Morning After Bag because at twenty percent smaller than the original M.A.B. it's still just a functional and stylish. Unfortunately, the screaming I heard then was my wallet's firm disagreement; that was until I came across ASOS' 70s bowler bag.

Cargos & Leather

{BEBE:Jacket; FOREVER 21:Pants, Bracelet; PROMISE via DLOVE:Shoes; H&M:Earrings; VICTORIA'S SECRET:Tank }

Probably the most relaxed and comfortable errand-running ensemble, a ribbed racerback tank and low slung cargos can easily play dress up (while remaining simple and easy) with a platform in basic black, cropped jacket in soft leather and a few sleek accessories like twisted hoop earrings and a multi link bracelet. What does your errand-running look consist of?
