Recently I hinted at my obsession with Wonder Womanand my excitement for M·A·C's collection in her honor. Well, nOir Jewelry has just upped that excitement tenfold with their DC Comics Collection which features pieces in honor of not only Wonder Woman, but Cat Woman, Bat Girl and Super Girl—talk about girl power! I love it all and can imagine that rocking any of these pieces will make me feel like the City is mine to do as I please.
Color Queens take note: Kurt Geiger's Spring/Summer 2011 collection is guaranteed to make any outfit pop with vibrant hues—in luxe suedes—stripped right from the rainbow. I definately want the colorblock wedges and I can practically hear the green platforms with gold heel begging for me to bring them home with me. View the collection and snag your favorites here...
My Altuzarra aspirations may seem a little lackluster being that my favorite pieces from the fall collection are black. For me though, it's all in the details: cotton moleskin jacket with buckles at chest and leather cuffs, leather lace-up ankle boot with cut-out shaft and a cut out racerback double knit wool dress with ruching at front panel and sleeves... there is nothing basic about these black beauties.
When making out my shopping lists—for a new season, travel, trends-to-try, special occasion, event—it's pretty much a given that I'll have to hit up more than one boutique. I also know which store in particular I'll need to shop for certain items. It's the best though, when I can shop an entire list from a singular outpost. Black riding boots—check. Fur or leather trench under $150—check. Oversized/boxy blouse—check...
As is visibly evident, my current crush on Zara is heavily warranted.
There has been more than one occasion when I’ve had to make an unexpected shoe modification to my ensemble. There was the time the party moved the from beach house to the actual beach, and the several incidents, while running errands, when a crack in the pavement has decided to try and wrestle my heel from its sole. As much as I hate to admit it, there are times when a flat sandal overrules the high-heeled option. Luckily, that does not mean my look has to suffer. I can stylishly go from highs to lows without having to change the overall mood of my look with Giuseppe Zanotti’s coordinated designs.
Spring's arrival has signaled a need to peel off those layers of heavyweight undergarments and usher in the soft, lightweight and luxuriate collection from Kiki de Montparnasse. Feminine and flirtatious, sultry and seductive--light-as-air pieces will have you floating right into your beau's arms.
Make your spring season bright with the glittering shimmer of Alexis Bittar's jewelry; set with a bevy of faceted Swarovski crystals-and on some pieces pearls-in subtly sophisticated shades of citrine, moonstone, pink champagne and icy green.
I am not usually a fan of prints, especially paisley, I prefer solids and add pops of color with my shoes and accessories- so a New Year's resolution of mine (fashion wise) was to incorporate more prints into my wardrobe. With this in mind I have taken notice of Amy Smilovic's line, Tibi. Smilovic's childhood interest in illustration and the arts is prominently featured in her finely detailed frocks which evoke a unique sense of vibrancy. The eye-catching pieces were at first awkward then became surprisingly pleasant as numerous style ideas came to me: easily versatile with heels or flats, can belt the waists or let them flow freely, long chained necklaces, bangles and most importantly--perfectly fine left alone utilizing the print as the accessory. The casual chic vibe of a Tibi dress can go from day to night with minimal effort and is a perfect look this season.

Ok, so I fell so in love with Kirkwood's laser-cut bootie for Pollini I had to see what else was being offered for spring and I will admit, I salivated (I don't apologize for my shoe fetish) over these confection colored pieces of foot candy. So now I'm off to find equally sweet nail lacquer.
Come spring Victoria “Posh” Beckham wants us all, well, poshly dressed in her debut collection. Priced from $1,153 - $1,596, Victoria says the 18 dresses are “stylish, chic and timeless,” - practical versions of her own über chic style. So if a sexy, sleek and slender dress is right up your alley for spring, shop early-- the department stores are apparently fighting over the collection which will mean limited selections.[IHT]
