As an independent fashion blogger I am always creating files and folders, jotting down notes and leaving paper trails of ideas and inspirations for my blog posts. I wanted a central location to record it all... Meet THE EDITOR™.
I created THE EDITOR™ as a "headquarters" for everything blog related: important URLs to post ideas and management to revenue tracking and much more.

I can't think of a better way to spend a long weekend than shopping my favorite stores at 20-50% off. What's on your Black Friday schedule?
1. Bebe | One of my favorite places to shop, Bebe has the just off the runway pieces I love with price tags I can afford. This topper and this sexy little number will be great additions to my wardrobe.
2. Charles David | I remember my first encounter with Charles David. It was (many years ago) on a shopping trip to Chicago for my birthday. One of the outfits I was gifted was a BCBGMaxAzria skirt and top and a pair of Charles David brown leather-wrapped wedges with nude straps to go with—I've been a fan ever since! This pair, these and definitely these belong on my feet.
3. Kobo Books | I love Kobo! I've had the app about a year and have over 140 books in my library (there are about 20 that I haven't gotten to yet). In addition to the millions of books in any genre you can think of, they now have magazines and newspapers! Read practically anything, anytime, anywhere—I think that's actually their slogan, but it's perfect and true.
4. French Connection | Euro chic at its finest. I'm currently coveting this

1. The health and happiness of my family and friends who are very much like family. I couldn't be happier or more grateful that everyone is doing well.
2. My blog. I have loved writing since I learned how and fashion and styling for as long as I can remember. My blog is the perfect platform that allows me to marry my two passions and freely, creatively express myself.
3. Being in California. It was a dream of mine since the age of six when I told my mom I was going to move to L.A. and become a Laker Girl. While the latter dream faded (high school cheerleading has sufficed), the goal to travel west didn't; eight years ago I made the move and have enjoyed every—good and not so good—moment of it.
4. Seizing the opportunity to publish THE EDITOR™... I truly believe in the power of verbalizing as well as writing down goals and dreams I want to accomplish. For that reason, I'm very excited to have a pen hovering over this particular goal, preparing to check it off on the list as achieved. (For more information on this go here.)

My holiday agenda includes two matinees today: Twilight's Eclipse and The Last Airbender--I'm really looking forward to Eclipse, though I doubt it'll compare to where my imagination took me with the book. And the Airbender looks like it'll have amazing CGI animation, plus, I'm betting on some amazing style inspiration. For Saturday, after I pick my BFF up from the train station we're going to catch up over some delicious potato poppers and yummy beignets (which i can taste already, mmm...). I'm also excited for Sunday because we're going to get a little pampering with massages and mani/pedis; I'm still deciding between a cool lavender or a blackberry red. Later that evening we have a table for four for sushi which I haven't had in while and I'm really looking forward to. And, to cap off my extended weekend I'll be heading over to the OC on Monday for a bonfire and tons of warm an toasty roasted treats. Through it all I plan to be relaxed and comfy yet cozy (for those cool evening breezes) in fun pieces that are all $50 and under. What are your fourth of July plans?
