WaterBody Integration — Sensitivity vs Reactivity + Emotional Flow vs Flooding


Before you read about sensitivity or reactivity, allow awareness to notice what is moving right now.

Notice sensation.
Notice emotion.
Notice rhythm.

Sensitivity is not fragility.
It is perception.

Sensitivity is the body capacity to register nuance.
Subtle shifts.
Relational cues.
Inner movement.

When WaterBody is supported, sensitivity becomes intelligence.
It informs response without urgency.
It allows feeling to move without taking over.

Reactivity often appears when sensitivity has no container.

When sensation and emotion arrive without support, the body reacts to protect itself.
Emotion moves too quickly.
The system floods.

This is not because there is too much feeling.
It is because feeling is moving without enough space.

WaterBody integration restores pacing.

Emotional flow moves through the body in waves.

It completes.

Flooding happens when emotion overwhelms the capacity to stay present.
The body loses orientation.
Breath shortens.
Attention narrows.

Neither state is wrong.

Sensitivity asks to be felt slowly.
Emotion asks to be allowed movement without interruption.

Reactivity is what happens when sensation is rushed, resisted, or ignored.
