Welcome to Day 22 of The Gentle Descent: Illuminate.

The theme this week is: The Light Within Release.

Autumn's fire is different from Summer's.

It does not ask us to blaze brighter.

It becomes the smaller, steadier flame that helps us see clearly as the outer light begins to change.

Fire now becomes discernment: illuminating what remains true after excess has fallen away.

This is not the fire of ascent.

It is the light that accompanies us inward.

Our element is Fire, and today’s prompt is:

What can I see now that I could not see before?
Place one hand over your solar plexus and notice what happens when you bring a known truth to mind.

I allow truth to illuminate what comes next.
Draw a small flame surrounded by whatever it reveals.
